Friends of the Library

Who We Are

The Friends of the Liberty Lake Municipal Library is a 501(c)3 non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to supporting and enhancing the library's programs, materials, and equipment.

What We Do

  • On-going daily book sale inside Liberty Lake Library
  • Monthly silent auction of newer books or book sets
  • Summer and fall book sales
  • Summer Soiree
  • Other fundraising events

What We Fund and Support

  • Adult, children's, and teen programs and events
  • Summer reading program
  • Library enhancements and other needs
  • Community partnerships like the Mobius Passes
  • The coffee and tea station in the library

When We Meet

Last Thursday of the month at 1 p.m. in the Library Meeting Room. 23123 E. Mission Ave., Liberty Lake, WA 99019.

How to Donate

  • Monetary donations, or a donation made in memory or in honor of a loved one. Donations are tax deductible.
  • Amazon Smile

  • Book donations for the book sales 

We will accept:

  • Adult, teen, and children's hardback and paperback fiction and non-fiction.
  • DVDs, CDs, audiobooks

We cannot accept:

  • Books in poor condition (i.e. moldy, dirty)
  • Encyclopedias or reference books
  • Text books
  • Travel books over 3 years old
  • Computer-related texts
  • Magazines and Comics

Please leave all donations at the front desk of the library. Tax receipt forms are available upon request.
