What is my password and how can I change it?
A password is required to access your account online, request and renew items, use downloadable collections, and sign into research databases from home. By default, your password is your last name in ALL CAPS. You have the option to sign into your account and change your password to something more secure.


Go to the CIN catalog and sign in with your library card number and default password. Click the “change my password” tab on the left, fill out the boxes, and click “Submit changes.”

If you forget your password, library staff can reset it to the default, then you can follow the above steps to change it to something else.Sign into your account and change your password.
