How do I get a book from another library or suggest a book to purchase?
You may request items from libraries within the Cooperative Information Network using our online catalog or over the phone at 509-232-2510. You will need your library card number and password/PIN (default password is last name in ALL CAPS).

If the item you want is not owned or lent by a library in CIN, you can make a request for the library to purchase the item by logging in to your library account and selecting the “my purchase suggestions” tab. See the Collection Policy for the criteria the Library uses to select materials.

You will be notified by email on the Library’s purchasing decision. If the Library does decide to purchase the item you request you will be placed on the hold list for it and notified when it is available.

You can request items from libraries outside CIN by submitting an interlibrary loan request. Visit the Interlibrary Loan page for more information.
