Reciprocal Borrowing

InlandShare Library Group

As part of the InlandShare Library Group (ILG), Liberty Lake Municipal Library resident and non-resident cardholders have access to the physical materials of all the ILG libraries in Idaho and Washington by presenting an activated ILG card at a library or by signing in and requesting materials using the ILG catalog. Items borrowed through ILG may be picked up and returned at any library in the network.

Spokane County Library District

Residents of the City of Liberty Lake in good standing with Liberty Lake Municipal Library are eligible for a library card with the Spokane County Library District (SCLD) free of charge. Residents served by SCLD are eligible for a library card with Liberty Lake Municipal Library. Some restrictions on digital materials and offsite use of online resources apply; SCLD residents may choose to pay the non-resident fee for full access to ILG resources. Find out about getting an ILG card and a SCLD card.

Items borrowed from LLML or SCLD cannot be returned to one another. Borrowers must return items to a library in the system from which they borrowed them.

Non-Residents

Those residing outside the ILG service area can elect to pay a $30 annual fee for access to ILG libraries. This fee covers loan of all physical and digital materials and facilitates database access for one year. Residents of SCLD who would like full access to ILG resources may also choose to pay the non-resident fee.

Interlibrary Loan

Resident cardholders who cannot find an item they need in ILG or SCLD may submit an interlibrary loan request to borrow it from a library outside our network.
