[ARCHIVED] Join all the fun at Barefoot in the Park on Saturday, Aug. 2

It's the most activity-packed day of the summer at Liberty Lake!  Join us for this year's Barefoot in the Park -- happening all day on Saturday, Aug. 2, at Pavillion Park (727 N. Molter Road in Liberty Lake)!

Come to spend all day enjoying stage entertainment, food and business vendors, inflatable play areas, and great attractions!  Among the highlights:
- Barefoot in the Park Car Show, with proceeds benefitting the programs of the Liberty Lake Kiwanis Club.  Participants may register for $10 at the event.
- Late afternoon and evening concert from Soulful Brothers featuring Max Daniels
- Second Chance Ranch petting zoo
- Dunk tank, benefitting Girl Scouts Troop 2360
- "Train" rides for kids
- Local youth bands performances
- Daytime stage shows from Reptile Lady April Jackson, Frances from Inland Northwest Magic, Northwest Taekwondo Academy, and Aloha Hula Dancers of Spokane
- Inflatable chicken races!

This year will also include a DUNK TANK, which will be a fundraiser for Girl Scouts Troop 2360.  Here's the schedule of the local celebrities you can try to get dunked into the tank:

- 11:30 - City Council member Chris Cargill
- 12:00 - City administrator Mark McAvoy
- 12:30 - City Council member Jed Spencer
- 1:00 - RHS Booster Club president Kaaron Kardonsky
- 1:30 - City Planning Commission member Phil Folyer
- 2:00 - RHS freshman football coach Michael Hamblet
- 2:30 - RHS varsity football head coach Dave Myers
- 3:00 - Precision Driving Academy instructor Val Dimitrov
- 3:30 - Police Department Deputy Chief Darin Morgan
