[ARCHIVED] Want to join the Community Engagement or Parks & Arts commissions?

3 people talking

Looking for a new way that you can become involved in something starting this spring?  We're taking applications from residents who are interested in joining the city's Community Engagement Commission (particularly someone who can represent the northeastern area of the city -- a resident who lives south of I-90, east of Liberty Lake Road, and north of Mission). Plus, the city's Parks and Arts Commission has an opening for an adjunct member.

- During the coming months, the Community Engagement Commission will be helping get public input on areas such as new park features for Pavillion Park as well as changes to the city's sign code.  Click here to read about the duties of the Liberty Lake Community Engagement Commission.
 - A few of the Parks and Arts Commission's upcoming activities include public art pieces that have been proposed near the Kramer Parkway bridge and at Town Square Park.  Click here to read about the duties of the Liberty Lake Parks and Arts Commission.

When you're ready to apply:  You can find Liberty Lake's City Advisory Board & Commission Application form here.
