[ARCHIVED] Asphalting work is completed: Spokane River Centennial Trail has reopened

Much earlier than originally planned, the new asphalting project on the 14 easternmost miles of the Spokane River Centennial Trail has been completed as of June 4, and that section of the trail has now been reopened to public use. The trail had been closed since April 15 for necessary upgrades throughout the site, and had been anticipated to remain closed at some point prior to Labor Day in September.
