[ARCHIVED] Touch A Truck is this Friday at Orchard Park!

Spokane Valley Fire truck with fireman and Touch A Truck visitors

The Liberty Lake Municipal Library presents its 2025 edition of Touch A Truck this Friday, July 18, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Orchard Park (20298 E. Indiana Ave. in Liberty Lake).  This free event for the entire family will showcase a variety of construction, emergency service, military, and other vehicles that kids can sit in and explore.

Here's a preview of the scheduled participants that will have trucks or other vehicles at this Friday's event:

  • City of Liberty Lake
  • Liberty Lake Police Department
  • Liberty Lake Police Tribute Car
  • Spokane Valley Fire Department
  • Avista
  • WM - Waste Management
  • Spokane County Sheriff
  • Sunshine Disposal & Recycling
  • Two Men and a Truck
  • U.S. Air National Guard
  • Western CAT
  • Pape' Machinery
  • Liberty Lake Post Office
  • Liberty Lake Sewer & Water District

Plus, the city will have some inflatable play areas set up, and there will be a few (in operation) refreshment vendor trucks on site throughout the three hours.  You'll also have an opportunity to contribute your input in the current survey that's being used to develop Liberty Lake's new master plan for the city's parks and recreation services.  And kids will be able to sign their name on the blades of the city's snowplows.

Special thanks to our Touch A Truck co-sponsors again this year:

  • The Children's Choice for Pediatric Dentistry
  • Numerica Credit Union
