On Mission Ave. starting just west of Corrigon Road (by George Gee) and extending to just short of the Harvest Parkway roundabout, pavement is rapidly deteriorating due to the freeze thaw cycle and overall poor condition of the road. The City is going to do an emergency repair on this section as soon as asphalt plants reopen which is anticipated to be mid-April. Until the April repair (and to prevent a total breakdown of the road and even potential closure), the public is strongly encouraged to take an alternate route and avoid using this section of Mission Avenue. The road is staying open for now and we hope to not close it, but we need your help. Please help us until we can complete the emergency repair! That will get us through another season. Mission Ave is going to be completely re-built in either late 2020 or in 2021.
