Reciprocal Borrowing

Cooperative Information Network
As part of the Cooperative Information Network, Liberty Lake Municipal Library resident and non-resident cardholders have access to the physical materials of all the CIN libraries in Idaho and Washington by presenting an activated CIN/Liberty Lake card at a library or by signing in and requesting materials using the CIN catalog. Items borrowed through CIN may be picked up and returned at any library in the network.

Spokane County Library District
Residents of the City of Liberty Lake in good standing with Liberty Lake Municipal Library are eligible for a library card with the Spokane County Library District free of charge. Residents served by SCLD are eligible for a library card with Liberty Lake Municipal Library. Some restrictions on digital materials and offsite use of online resources apply. Find out about getting a LLML card here and a SCLD card here.

Items borrowed from LLML or SCLD cannot be returned to one another. Borrowers must return items to a library in the system from which they borrowed them.

Interlibrary Loan
If you cannot find the item you want in CIN or SCLD, you may submit an interlibrary loan request to have us borrow it from a library outside our network. More information here.
