Library Cards

Any adult with the required identification may get a library card free of charge by submitting an application. Children over 5 years of age with a parent or guardian with a library card or the required identification may get a library card. Required identification includes proof of identity (driver's license, government ID, school ID, work badge, etc.) and proof of address (utility bill, postmarked mail, lease/rental agreement, title of ownership, etc.) if ID does not show address. Those without proof of address may still be issued a card with a checkout limit of two (2) items. Proof of address must be presented at the next visit to the library to borrow other items or use library services.

Applications are available at the Library, or you can fill one out online and it will be ready for you when you next come to the Library. Just remember to bring a picture ID.

Library accounts may be set up by residents or non-residents of the City of Liberty Lake. Liberty Lake Municipal Library is also part of the Cooperative Information Network. CIN cardholders may use LLML without needing a separate card.

Liberty Lake Municipal Library has a reciprocal borrowing agreement with Spokane County Library District.
