Food Drive - December 1 to December 31

The annual City canned food drive begins December 1st.  We will be collecting donations for the 2nd Harvest Food Bank until December 31st. Donations will also be accepted during the Tree Lighting Ceremony at City Hall, and at the library during Saturday with Santa. 

Take a minute on your next shopping trip to help the less fortunate this holiday season.

Tis the Season and Tree Lighting 

We invite you to join us at City Hall to kick off the Holiday season with our annual Tree Lighting Ceremony. Come socialize, sing carols, watch the tree lighting and enjoy hot drinks and cookies. Everyone is welcome!
  • Tuesday, December 20th
  • 5:30-7:00pm at City Hall
Walk to Bethlehem
Following the tree lighting ceremony, a multi-faith group led by shepherds will guide groups to Pavillion Park for a holiday reenactment.

Saturday with Santa - December 17th

Come join us at the library to meet and get your picture taken with Santa, as well as participate in fun games and activities put on by the City of Liberty Lake Library. Professional pictures, digital images and photo packages are available for sale from photographer Kim Carmichael of Bugabu Images. You can also bring your smart phone or camera and one of Santa’s elves can take the picture for you. See you at the library!

  • Saturday, December 17th at the Library (23123 E. Mission Ave.)
  • Santa will be available from 10:30-1:00pm
  • Professional photography from Bugabu Images will be available. Parents can also take their own pictures.

Sledding at Trailhead Golf Course

Is there snow on the ground? Bring your sleds, family, and friends to Trailhead Golf Course (south side of the Driving Range fence) for sledding from November - February!! Please remember, sledding is at your own risk and parents are encouraged to accompany children.
